Current Wiretap Service simply records event payload contents as is to Ikasan persistence. Most of time, it is sufficient and useful to be able to view actual contents. However, that is not the case when dealing with large payloads in terms of performance and storage use. Therefore, it would be better to be able to wiretap payload meta-data information instead.
